Overview
1 in 5 adults experience domestic abuse in their lifetime; the police receive a domestic abuse-related call every 30 seconds.
Integrated Domestic Abuse Service Plymouth – IDASP – is an integrated domestic abuse support service in Plymouth. It is a partnership between Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, First Light, Ahimsa and Barnardo’s, commissioned by Plymouth City Council and Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner.
Designed with input from survivors and local expertise, IDASP brings together specialist local and national organisations to provide one clear, safe pathway into support, reducing harm, and strengthening Plymouth’s coordinated response to domestic abuse.
Support ranges from crisis support and personalised safety planning to specialist support for children, and intensive, 1:1 behaviour-change programmes for people posing a high risk and high frequency of harm.
