Users of our website

BOP collects a range of information about visits to our website. The following information is stored for twelve months:

BOP deliver a number of programmes on behalf of various government bodies and local authorities.

If you have been referred to, or have registered on one of our programmes, we will have processed information about you.

Applying for BOP vacancies

The information you provide will be processed in order to facilitate (i) the registration, (ii) the handling and (iii) the processing of your application in relation to this vacancy and any subsequent engagement of yourself by BOP.

In order to, and in the course of, processing your personal data it may be disclosed to any organisations necessary to obtain your references, vetting checks (e.g. to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check) and/or any third party organisations providing administration or other relevant services to BOP.

Your personal data will not be shared with any other organisations, unless:

  • You have given your direct and personal consent to the sharing of this personal data;
  • Your data must be shared with third parties as part of the application procedure in order to be able to process your application. These third parties are not authorised to use the personal data for any other purpose than what is necessary to assist the data controller;
