Overview

KDASS offers person-led, accessible, inclusive and coordinated support for individuals and communities – reducing their risk of harm and empowering them to achieve independence.

1 in 5 adults experience domestic abuse in their lifetime; the police receive a domestic abuse-related call every 30 seconds.

KDASS is a collaboration between Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership (PDAP), RASAC, WomenCentre, Northorpe Hall, Kirklees Council and BOP, which provides vital support for those experiencing, or who have experienced, harm through domestic abuse.

It is the first social outcomes contract to deliver statutory domestic abuse services in the UK, supporting individuals to rebuild their lives while improving their safety through multiagency collaboration. As well as this personalised support for individuals, KDASS also aims to build systemic change in tackling domestic abuse, and enable vital integration both of related services and organisations, and of those with lived experience.
