• Miguel is a Programme Director at Bridges Outcomes Partnerships, where he leads the design, delivery, and performance management of outcomes-based education programmes across Ghana, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Rwanda. His work spans early childhood, primary, and out-of-school children interventions, with a focus on improving access, retention, and learning outcomes through results-based financing, adaptive programme design, and strong monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems.

    Prior to joining Bridges, Miguel worked at the Varkey Foundation and Plan International. At Plan International Ghana, he was the Project Lead for the Ghana Education Outcomes Programme (GEOP) Lots 4 and 5, overseeing large-scale accelerated learning and school-based interventions, delivery partner performance, government engagement, and results verification. He also previously managed the Making Ghanaian Girls Great! (MGCubed) programme, a nationally recognised EdTech initiative delivering digital and satellite-supported learning to underserved communities.

    Miguel has worked in international development since 2016, with practical experience across programme design, MEL, outcomes-based contracting, and education systems strengthening in both urban and rural contexts. He holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London.
