Marina’s role at BOP involves leading the growth strategy into environment-focused partnerships and supporting the development of social impact bonds in the UK and abroad.

A Leadership Fellow at Harvard, Marina received her MBA from Harvard Business School, where she focused on sustainable investing and social entrepreneurship, with practical experiences in Kenya and India. She also interned at BOP, supporting homelessness programmes in the UK.

Previously, Marina helped launch Brazil’s first blended finance social fund, providing affordable credit to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co in São Paulo, supporting clients across banking, retail, telecoms, and education, while leading pro bono projects for non-profits.

Marina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of São Paulo.
