Joey is the Service Manager for The Wave in Northamptonshire, which supports young people aged 16-25 who are currently in care, or have experience of being in care. In her role, Joey oversees a team of Wave Workers deliver trauma-informed, therapeutic support to young people in complex circumstances across the county.

Joey has 15 years’ experience working within a range of health and social care settings, in both secure hospitals and the community. She specialises in in the set up and delivery of new and innovative services, with a particular focus on the needs of women. Joey’s work has been written up and published both in the British Journal of Healthcare Assistants and for Mind.org.
